Let’s be honest. Birthday parties can be quite the struggle, or at least for the planner it can be. The amount of responsibility that comes with being a party planner is immense, and at times, can be overwhelming. The checklist never seems to end. Do you have plates and silverware? Although candy isn’t that common at adult parties, you better believe it’s the highlight of everybody’s life at kids parties. That’s why you have to make sure that the candy you stock up on is the right kind – inclusive of everyone’s tastes and preferences and nothing too bland. For example, if you were a kid and had just broken open a piñata and saw a bunch of black licorice fall out, how would you feel? Petrified, of course. You’d instead want to see something along the lines of Hershey’s chocolate, Skittles, or Starbursts.
