About This Product:
Karen's Heart: The True Story of a Brave Baby Orangutan is a heartwarming story of a brave orangutan's journey through history-making heart surgery and her resulting recovery. Karen the Orangutan has always been special to her caretakers at the San Diego Zoo. As a baby, Karen needed extra attention from the zoo's caretakers so she could thrive in the nursery after her mother was unable to care for her. When she was one year old, Karen returned to her orangutan family. Soon after, her caretakers noticed she was not growing as quickly as she should have. Karen was examined by veterinarians and cardiologists, who discovered that she had a life-threatening heart murmur caused by a hole in her heart. To save Karen's life, a surgery team from UC San Diego Medical Center performed open-heart surgery on her - which marked the first time in history that open-heart surgery had been performed on an orangutan.

Iced items will be packed with insulated boxes and ice packs. An icing fee of $8.50 per shipping carton will apply.
RETURN POLICY:
Return requests can be submitted for merchandise that simply does not meet your expectations. Shortages and damages must be reported within 5 business days of delivery; all other return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery. All returned products must be unused and in original manufacturer packaging. If the merchandise must be shipped back to our warehouse, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping.
EXCEPTIONS:
Ingestible items: To comply with FDA policies, Kelli's does not accept returns of any ingestible items, including candy/snacks and over-the-counter medicine. If an ingestible item arrives damaged or defective, you may request a credit.
Clearance items: All clearance items are final sale; no returns or credits are accepted. Clearance candy/snack items may have short shelf lives.
Why do I need to submit a resale tax certificate?
Since you are buying items to be resold in your physical or virtual store, Kelli's does not charge you (the reseller) any sales tax on your purchases. A resale tax certificate confirms that you are a valid reseller and should not be charged sales tax on your Kelli's purchases.
